Join us at The Quad for a powerful evening celebrating the rich cultural heritage of African Americans in the Lowcountry. This special event will explore the profound impact of “The Blues” on American music and African-American resilience through history.
Emceed by esteemed historian Lee Brockington, the evening will feature a journey into the roots and legacy of the Blues, sharing how this deeply expressive genre shaped both the culture and spirit of a people.
The night’s musical highlight comes from legendary blues guitarist Mac Arnold and his band Plate Full O’ Blues, delivering an unforgettable live performance steeped in soul and tradition.
